Four teeangers have been arrested following a chaotic car chase at the weekend.
On Saturday evening, NT Police received reports a vehicle had been stolen from a supermarket car park on Trower Road after the keys had been left in the ignition.
Police found the vehicle in Karama and attempted to stop the occupants by deploying a tyre deflation device on Applegum Drive.
The vehicle was then pursued until it came to a stop on Lee Point Road, where four occupants abandoned the vehicle and allegedly fled.
After a short foot chase, all four members were arrested.
Police have since charged two 18-year-old women and one 17-year-old boy with multiple offences.
A 13 year-old girl was released and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
A video obtained by the NT News shows the aftermath of the chase, with multiple police cars seen and heard blaring their sirens.
“They just got busted, they pulled up right here,” a man filming says.
“They all ran down this way (I’ve) seen them, coppers ran down the other side.”
On the roadside, a police officer can be seen handcuffing an individual lying on the grass.
“Look right there, look, one is already down,” the man says.
“This is crazy.”
The cameraman then zooms in on a vehicle in the backdrop of the chaos.
“Oh look they crashed, they crashed, that’s what happened,” he says.
“Right over there... holy s--t.”
