FORMER Labor deputy chief minister Marion Scrymgour is the new Northern Land Council chief executive.
Ms Scrymgour, who served under chief minister Paul Henderson before briefly resigning from the Labor Party, is the first woman to serve as the organisation’s head.
She replaces acting chief executive Jak Ah Kit, who took over after Joe Morrison sensationally resigned and was later dismissed late last year.
