A TEENAGER has been hospitalised after crashing his vehicle on Tiger Brennan Drive today when he fell asleep at the wheel.

NT Police say a Toyota Hilux crashed into the trees on a median strip while travelling inbound on Tiger Brennan Drive at Berrimah around 12.30 this morning.

The 19-year-old male driver was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to hospital.
Watch Commander Andrew Heath said the man was breath tested and police found alcohol was not a factor, but he appeared to have fallen asleep at the wheel.
