MORE than 200,000 people have arrived into the Northern Territory since the borders reopened on July 17.
The latest arrivals data from NT Health shows that more than 121,500 people have arrived by air, more than 79,800 have arrived by road and over 3400 by boat as of yesterday afternoon.

Over that five-month period, close to 77,000 COVID-19 tests have been done and there have been 72 confirmed cases, including 60 who have recovered and 12 active cases that were acquired from overseas.
Authorities also completed more than 34,000 compliance checks in the Territory over the same period and issued 161 infringement notices.

There were more than 570 people undertaking quarantine across facilities in Howard Springs and Alice Springs as of yesterday afternoon.
It comes after more than 130 passengers that arrived in Darwin from Sydney on Sunday were placed under mandatory 14-day quarantine at Howard Springs after the NT expanded it’s COVID-19 hot spot declaration.
