Young lawyer reaches semi-finals in prestigious NT Young Achiever Awards
AN Alice Springs lawyer and community volunteer has reached the semi finals for the prestigious 2021 NT Young Achiever Awards

Alice Springs lawyer and community volunteer Alexandra Craig has reached the semi finals after being nominated in two categories for the prestigious 2021 NT Young Achiever Awards.
Ms Craig (pictured) was nominated in the Glencore McArthur River Mining Regional and
Rural Initiative Award and the McDonalds NT Career Achievement Award.
She works full time as a Community Development Lawyer at the Central Land Council.
“I am fortunate my work as a community development lawyer at the Central Land Council takes me to remote Communities across Central Australia, working with and empowering our First Nations people,” she said.

The next round of judging, which determines the Finalists in each category, is taking place on February 12.
Winners will be announced at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday April 23 at the Beachside Pavilion – Mindil Beach Casino Resort.
