Set for Life division two prize lands in Alice Springs

A SET for Life division two prize landed in Alice Springs on Friday night, with a local man taking home a total prize pool of $60,000 or $5,000 a month for a year.

A SET for Life division two prize landed in Alice Springs on Friday night, with a local man taking home a total prize pool of $60,000 or $5,000 a month for a year.

Living up to its name, the winning entry was sold at – you guessed it – The Lucky Charm Alice Springs.

Choosing to remain anonymous, the man said the win was “pretty cool”.

“I got an email on Friday saying I had won a prize, but I didn’t believe it,” he explained.

“But then I checked the ticket and guess what?! I’d won it! Everyone in the family’s pretty happy.

“I’ll just put it in the bank for a while. I can’t go anywhere anyway at the moment. I’ll just be happy watching that bank balance grow over the coming year.”
