A NEW $3.1 million tourism campaign is being rolled out to encourage and inspire more Australians to visit the Red Centre by offering savings of up to $1000 per person.
The ‘Mates Rates’ campaign, a partnership between Tourism Central Australia and NT Now by Holidays of Australia, will feature packages across Alice Springs and the Lasseter Region, home to the World Heritage listed Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park and Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon).
The campaign will offer consumers the opportunity to save up to $1,000 per person off select Red Centre bookings made until 30 September 2021 for travel now until 30 April 2022.
Packages include ‘Adventure in the Outback’, ‘Red Centre Self Drive Alice Springs, Uluru Kings Canyon’, ‘4WD Uluru Red Centre Desert Dreaming Safari’ plus others and are commissionable to travel agents.
Tourism Central Australia CEO Danial Rochford said the campaign would “provide a much-needed boost to tourism operators in and around Kings Canyon, Alice Springs and Uluru”.
“This is the perfect opportunity for Australians to escape to the quintessential outback destination.”
