Cairns teens Ellouise Mueller and Summer Guorde off to Melbourne model final
Two ambitious Cairns teens made it through the Queensland top model finals and will take part in a runway event where Australia’s top model will be named.

Two determined Cairns teens will compete in the national final of Top Model Australia in Melbourne this weekend.
Ellouise Mueller, 17, from Mt Sheridan, and Summer Guorde, 18, from East Trinity, are among aspiring models vying for the prize of a trip to compete in London on the International stage, and walk in London Fashion Week while there in September.
Ellouise, a Freshwater Christian College graduate, said she had enjoyed little athletics and dance for years when she was younger and now loved yoga, meditation, and gym training.
“I’m super excited,” she said.
“I was over the moon when my name was called in the Queensland finals at the Gold Coast last month.”
Summer Guorde, 18, from East Trinity, has some runs on the board opening a runway show for Dijo Clothing, doing an international campaign for South Pacific Bridal’s Japanese division and a campaign for Anandalite Creations.
“Yes, East Trinity is an unusual address” she said with a laugh.
“We’ve just moved here but we’ve got an amazing view and the dogs love it.
“It’s my life passion and I am completely dedicated to making this a successful career for myself,” Ms Guorde said.
“My biggest aspiration would be to model in a Swarovski campaign – they have the most beautiful sets and costumes and I would love to be a part of that.”
She has also starred in advertising campaigns including high end real estate videos.
“I recently had the pleasure of shooting with Rob Brown, a renowned underwater fashion photographer for Vogue,” she said.
“I’m hoping Top Model Australia will bring me the exposure to launch my international modelling career.”
The pair will compete at the swish W Hotel on June 23.
