The deadline NSW’s family energy rebate is nearing, as chances to get the $180 rebate end June 16.

“This rebate offers a helping hand to low-income families with dependent children, allowing them to spend more on what matters,” state Energy Minister Penny Sharpe said.

The Minister is also reminding consumers to shop around, saying customers with old or uncompetitive plans could save between $120 to $221 per year on power.

“The Family Energy Rebate is real money that can benefit people struggling with the cost of living, I encourage all families to check their eligibility for rebates online, and apply before the June 16 deadline,” Ms Sharpe said.
