Sunrise host David Koch has been caught directing a rude gesture at his co-host during a live segment.
Koch, who was reporting from London on Friday morning ahead of the Coronation, had been joking with co-hosts Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington about his flat cap when he suddenly slipped up.
“Kochie, looking good,” Shirvington said.
“Uncle Arthur!” added Barr, possibly referring to the Comedy Company character made famous by Glenn Robbins.
Koch laughed at the joke, but also appeared offended, before sticking up his middle finger.
“Oh hang on!” said Barr, with Shirvington adding, “He looks visibly upset!”
Barr backtracked, telling Koch: “It becomes you, it looks beautiful.”
Koch carried on with the remainder of the segment without the hat.
He was broadcasting from outside Buckingham Palace ahead of Saturday’s Coronation of King Charles III.
Earlier in the week, the Seven camera crew had managed to capture images of a man apparently throwing shotgun shells over the gates of the palace, screaming that he was going to kill the King.
He was quickly arrested and led away by police.
