A Sydney OnlyFans star could be entangled in a legal dispute over compensation for a Mercedes van she smashed in drunken crash.

Sydney social media sensation and OnlyFans star Paris Ow-Yang could be entangled in a legal battle over compensation for damage to a Mercedes van she crashed.

The owner of the van claims she owes $150,000 to cover damages inflicted during Ow-Yang’s drunken crash in Sydney’s east last October.

Legal representatives of the owner, businessman Adam Troost, have taken action by sending a draft statement of claim to Ow-Yang, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Despite initial attempts at an amicable resolution, including Ow-Yang’s indication of willingness to pay for the damages, negotiations have proven difficult, according to Mr. Troost’s lawyer, Ben Horne.

However, they expressed frustration as the 18-year-old influencer has allegedly not paid up.

Mr Troost’s lawyer, Ben Horne, said attempts had been made to reach an amicable resolution, telling the masthead: “Mr Troost has tried to be nice.”

“At Ms Ow-Yang’s hearing, she indicated she would pay to make good the damage caused,” he added.

“That appears not to be happening and has made it difficult to negotiate a simple solution.”

Ow-Yang, found to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.213 during the incident, remains willing to settle but disputes the amount of $150,000.

Ow-Yang has been convicted and sentenced in the aftermath of the incident, with legal consequences including a two-year Community Corrections Order, a nine-month driving disqualification, and a mandatory 24-month interlock installation, along with a $1000 fine.

Her legal counsel, Michael Bowe, clarified: “We asked for a valuation (of the damaged vehicle), and that figure was $90,000 which my client is ready, willing and able to pay.”

The dispute escalates as Mr Troost’s claim encompasses costs for a hired car until he can secure an identical replacement vehicle, which is expected in June.

Notably, his damaged Mercedes was uninsured at the time of the incident.

Ow-Yang’s crash occurred after nine hours of drinking, coping with a recent break-up with millionaire nightclub proprietor Julian Tobias.

Despite the legal turmoil, the influencer swiftly transitioned to posting Instagram updates from Los Angeles, where she embarked on a holiday before her court case.

The legal aftermath saw Ow-Yang convicted and sentenced to a two-year Community Corrections Order, a nine-month driving disqualification, and the mandatory installation of a 24-month interlock.

Additionally, she was fined $1000 for the offences related to the incident.
