Drink driving Only Fans star Paris Ow-Yang is facing the possibility of legal action, after disputed claims the teenage influencer has not paid $150,000 allegedly required to replace a Mercedes van she crashed into while four times over the limit in Sydney’s east in October.

Lawyers for the owner of the damaged vehicle, businessman Adam Troost, sent a draft statement of claim for $150,000 to Ow-Yang but say the 18-year-old has not been forthcoming with the money.

“Mr Troost has tried to be nice,” Sydney lawyer Ben Horne said.

“At Ms Ow-Yang’s hearing she indicated she would pay, to make good the damage caused.

“That appears not to be happening and has made it difficult to negotiate a simple solution.”

Ow-Yang had a blood-alcohol level of .213 when she crashed her car into the Mercedes Van on Wolsley Rd in Point Piper.

Her lawyer Michael Bowe said his client was always willing to pay, but the $150,000 amount Mr Troost first asked for was disputed.

“We asked for a valuation (of the damaged vehicle) and that figure was $90,000 which my client is ready, willing and able to pay,” he said.

“Since then, there has now been a claim for demurrage without any documentation.”

Mr Troost’s claim amount is understood to include costs for a hire car until he can purchase an identical replacement vehicle, which is not available until June.

His smashed Mercedes was not insured at the time Ow-Yang crashed into it.

The teenage influencer had been drinking for nine hours to get over a break-up with multi millionaire nightclub proprietor Julian Tobias when her black Mercedes hit Mr Troost’s parked vehicle at about 8.45pm on October 18.

Within days she was posting Instagram photos from Los Angeles where she went holidaying before her court case.

Her neurosurgeon dad, Michael Ow-Yang, was with his daughter in November when the Downing Centre Local Court heard the then P-plater registered a reading of .213

when arrested and also was not displaying her P-plates at the time.

Ow-Yang pleaded guilty to high-range drink driving, with Mr Bowe telling the court his client, who had boasted on social media she earned large sums of money on her OnlyFans page, would have to pay for the two damaged Mercedes.

Magistrate Rodney Brender said her behaviour had put the public in danger and warned her that if she appeared before court again on a similar charge she would be sent to jail.

Ow-Yang was convicted and sentenced to a two-year Community Corrections Order, disqualified from driving for nine-months and had a mandatory 24 month interlock installed. She was also fined $1000.

“I think she got off relatively lightly,” Mr Troost said, who added he had not received an apology from the young woman.

“I’ve now had to hand it over to my lawyer to try and recover the cost of a new van.”
