A true bargain hunter’s dream
Vinnies did their very first PopUP Shop earlier this year at The District Docklands, in response to the need for both sustainability and value from customers.
The PopUP Shops are fully stocked with almost entirely new goodies, donated from well-known brands and corporate partners.
Items range from fashion and homewares to footwear, and electrical goods. Shop for the whole family with men’s, women’s and children’s sections, and pick up a gadget or two while you’re there!

Whilst the details of all the deals are being kept under wraps, we can reveal that there are some phenomenal deals to be shopped. $10 large jars of Biscoff, $2 bags of Red Rock Deli Sweet Chilli Chips and brand new sneakers at a huge discount? Yes please!
The best part is, every purchase at one of these stores contributes to St Vincent de Paul Society’s mission of assisting Victorians in need within the community.
Where are these magical places?!
Following the success of the first Vinnies PopUp Shop, Vinnies is taking them to every corner of the state.
Currently, there’s a PopUp in Ascot Vale, open until November 3, with another just recently opening in Boronia.
“We’re so excited to open our latest PopUP by Vinnies in Boronia, bringing this fun new shopping experience to the precinct which really redefines op-shopping in a sustainable, ethical and rewarding way," said Liz Randle, Head of Merchandise & Retail Innovation, St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria.
“The Boronia PopUp is filled with almost entirely brand-new products, generously donated by our corporate partners, with plenty of well-known brands for customers to explore and pluck a bargain.”
“With a wide range of clothing for kids, women and men as well as footwear, homewares, electrical gadgets and appliances, customers will be able to find unique gifts for loved ones in the lead up to Christmas as well as a cheeky gift or two for themselves.”
“Most importantly the money raised from every purchase at PopUP by Vinnies will go towards helping some of the most vulnerable Victorians amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis and affordable housing shortage.”
“We’re open 9.30-5pm Tuesday to Saturday up until Christmas, or until stock runs out, so come in and say ‘hi’ to our welcoming Vinnies team.”
A a third PopUP Shop is set to open in Richmond on November 7.
The Richmond PopUP Shop's focus is Christmas, summer and the holiday season, with decorations available in addition to household items, Bric-à-brac and electrical.
