Shoppers 'obsessed' with $22 Kmart pyjama hack

The satin PJs are flying off the shelves - but not for the reason you might expect.

It's no secret that Kmart shoppers are a resourceful bunch, but their latest fashion hack has left everyone seriously impressed. 

The budget retailer's $22 Satin Cami and Pants Pyjama Set is now in hot demand after a woman shared a unique hack to the Kmart Hacks and Decor Facebook page.

The stunning green and pink set, typically meant to sleep in, was given a new lease on life after a few stylish additions were added.

"Hacked the PJs as a going out set"

The woman, Sonya, shared some mirror selfies wearing the set to the group. 

She wrote, "Hacked the PJs as a going out set. Just added a jacket and some Kmart wedges."

In the photos, Sonya showed off the beautifully curated outfit and looked effortlessly put-together and refined at the same time.

You'd honestly have no idea she was rocking a pair of PJs!

She styled the top and pant set with an oversized green blazer, beige heels and silver jewellery.

"That's so impressive"

Fellow shoppers were quick to express their shock at the simple trick.

"Now this! This is a total hack! You look stunning. Never in a million years would I have imagined this up, but what a great hack!" exclaimed one Kmart fan.

Another chimed in, joking, "Love it! Straight into bed when you get home!"

Others also admitted to styling up pyjamas for everyday wear.

"I have a pair of PJ pants from a couple of years ago and wear them as pants. With a pair of heels, you would never know," one shopper revealed.

"I wear their nighties as dresses. They're just too nice not to be worn out!" wrote someone else.

"Beautiful pattern, very comfortable"

The satin set comes in sizes ranging from six to 22 and features a scoop neck top with adjustable shoulder straps.

The pants have an adjustable waistband and are praised as being "ultra comfortable."

One five-star review online read: "They feel great, so soft and it’s easy to move around."

Someone else wrote, "Beautiful pattern, very comfortable."
