Aussie Catholic schoolgirls storm Macca’s in viral muck-up prank

More than 100 Catholic students caused utter mayhem after descending on a McDonald’s restaurant.

A group of Aussie schoolgirls have gone viral after they stormed Macca’s while dressed as Ronald McDonald, causing utter mayhem.

Videos showing the muck up day prank have amassed millions of views after the students from Sacre Coeur in Glen Iris, Victoria shared them on TikTok.

At least 100 girls donned the iconic yellow and red costume, complete with the red curly wig, before descending on their local “Golden Arches” as part of the annual end of school festivities.

The Catholic school girls could be seen running into the fast-food joint in a clip that has been viewed almost 40 million times, while CCTV filmed inside the restaurant revealed how the students completely took over, filling the space from the front entrance to the counter.

A few of the girls event ventured behind the counter to pose for photos, while others were filmed interacting with McDonald’s staff members.

“I just know the workers were SO done,” one user commented, prompting the student behind the viral clips to state: “Nah, they loved us.”

The overwhelming response to the muck up day prank was disbelief, with many expressing disbelief over the magnitude of the stunt in the comments section.

“How did you get so many people to agree to this?” one asked.

“How do you get so many people on board with this is my question?” pressed another.

As one said: “This would have sparked my claustrophobia.”

Many thought the prank was “hilarious”, arguing the Macca’s workers would surely have loved it.

“The jumping has me dead,” remarked one.

“I like the fact they're low-key respectful with it and not trampling to get inside the work area,” shared another.

While one reasoned: “No because honestly as long as there was no mess and y’all didn’t get too wild I would’ve LOVED this.”

“As an employee of McDonald’s, I guarantee they talked about y’all for the next like hour afterwards, and you likely made their day,” claimed someone else.

Muck-up days have a history of descending into chaos, with schools now driving to make the annual student tradition more respectful.

Things sadly still get out of hand, with one teenager last year “seriously injured” in a prank that went horribly wrong.

The 17-year-old boy was hit by a car when several Oakhill College students were gathered at First Farm Drive in Castle Hill to throw water balloons.

As a result, schools are now trying to keep kids on campus, to avoid accidents and suspensions.
