ANOTHER eScooter rider has eaten dirt after a late night scooter collision in which another rider crashed into her scooter in the city.

Northern Watch Commander Len Turner said two friends had been riding together when their scooters collided.

“Two scooters were travelling together and the first rider was in the front and waited for the second one to catch up,” he said.

“The second caught up, the first rider pulled out and they collided, the first rider landing face first in the footpath.

“She had injuries but not serious, she was treated at the scene by St John Ambulance.”

The women’s friends was uninjured.
