Mum defends rogue reason for charging family $300 each for Christmas lunch

Would you be happy to pay? Even if it includes one 'free' glass of Champagne?

Mum fakes depression for free nose job

It's that time of the year again - when festive cheer is in the air, everything's winding down anddddd apparently, we're charging our family for Christmas lunch?!

Yep, you read that right. A UK reality star, who never misses a beat to stir the pot, has announced that this Christmas - her turkey comes with a hefty price tag.

Carla Bellucci, who you might remember as the former model with a knack for 'creatively' acquiring a publicly-funded $13k nose job (she lied about having depression), is back at it with her latest headline-grabbing antic.

Despite "loving the festive period", she admitted that she's feeling the pinch of the cost-of-living crisis and deserves to be compensated for the time and expense of preparing a 15-person meal.

$300 for a full turkey dinner and a single glass of Champagne

The mum, 42, will be hosting her nine relatives, in addition to her family of six on Christmas day.

And for a cool $300 per head, her guests will be treated to a full turkey dinner and one single glass of Champagne.

"It's not cheap feeding people and it also takes a lot of time to put together a nice meal," she told Mail Online.

"I'll give them a glass of Champagne, but if they want any more booze, they can bring their own," she added.

Carla also shared that she would be making a profit from the meal too, saying, "Everything I do is for profit and my family understands that."

"If you want quality, you have to pay for it"

However, not all of her family are on board, she says.

"Some of them will be disgusted with the idea. But if you want quality, you have to pay for it.

"It wouldn't be any cheaper if you went to a restaurant or hotel for a Christmas Day meal, so why should I be out of pocket?"

Doors will open around 2pm, and at 10pm, she said she would "kick them all out and send them home".

And to anyone online who accuses her of being a Scrooge, she has one simple message: "Get stuffed, with all the trimmings!"
