US YouTube sensation David Dobrik has been spotted in Australia with Sydney influencer and jewellery designer Emma Pillemer, best known as Emma Pills.

Dobrik, 28, made a surprise visit to Sydney over the weekend and was seen spending time with the entrepreneur, 23, who recently appeared on the Channel 7 reality show, Made in Bondi.

He was dressed casually in an oversized white T-shirt, black shorts, and white Salomon sneakers, just 11 days after returning to YouTube after two years to show off his body transformation.

During their outing, which included a classic Aussie stop at a servo to pick up groceries, Dobrik was seen drinking a Celsius energy drink.

Pillemer also opted for a relaxed style, wearing low-waisted floral pyjama pants and a low-cut grey singlet.

She paired the look with kitten-heel thong sandals embellished with cherries from Jeffrey Campbell, and her signature platinum blonde hair styled with a middle part.

She also carried her dog, who sported a Dior dog jumper, while Dobrik filmed her on his phone.

While the pair have never been publicly romantically linked, there have been rumours circulating online ever since Dobrik featured Pillemer on his Snapchat a couple of years ago.

Pillemer is also good friends with Natalie Mariduena, who was previously Dobrik’s assistant and is now the president and manager of David Dobrik LLC.

Mariduena is also currently in Sydney and has been seen at various Eastern Suburbs beaches with Pillemer and at the Aussie’s Vaucluse home.

Pillemer is a well-known socialite in the Eastern Suburbs scene, boasting over 100,000 followers on Instagram and a slew of famous friends.

During her time on Made in Bondi in August last year, she told a fellow castmate that she had a boyfriend, but it’s unknown if they are still together.

She launched her jewellery brand in September 2020, which is estimated to have generated over $1.42 million, according to WWD.

Entrepreneurship runs in her family. Her father, Russel Pillemer, is a fund manager who co-founded Pengana with former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and helped grow the firm’s funds to over $3 billion.

Dobrik has amassed 17.4 million subscribers on YouTube, 25 million followers on TikTok, and 9.7 million followers on Instagram.

He began making vlogs in 2015 and gained fame for his boyish charm and cheeky personality. As a founder of the controversial Vlog Squad, he earned a spot in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and has an estimated net worth of around $40 million AUD.

He was dating fellow YouTube star Liza Koshy from 2015-2018 but has kept his love life out of the public since then.

After stepping away from YouTube in 2022 to pursue other business ventures, he made his return last week, proudly displaying his new ripped physique.

Boasting a six-pack, he wrote, “New year, new me, new vlog.”

His surprise visit to Sydney has delighted fans, who have been following his updates as he explores popular Sydney night-life spots and tourist attractions like Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Opera House.
