In a statement, publisher Hachette Australia said: “For the second time in less than five years, the NT News team have given up Friday night drinks to collate a collection of their best efforts into the ultimate gift book.”

NT News editor Matt Williams said the time had come for a new coffee table book of great front pages.
“The first book was such a success we’ve had stacks of requests to make a new one so we’ve delivered,” he said.
“Thankfully we had plenty of great front pages to pick from, including some crackers like Why I’ve Got Some Sticky Near My Dicky, Toaster Melted My Dentures and Monster Snake Found In Loo.”
Williams said the new book was slightly different in that the front pages and their headlines also come with the story that ran with them.
“This is something the fans asked for,” he said.

The new book is available in book stores from November 27 for $24.99 or for $12.99 on EBook.
