Melbourne woman has R-cup breasts that won’t stop growing

A Melbourne mum has opened up about living with a rare condition that causes her breasts to grow at an accelerated rate.

Woman with big boobs details bra complaint

A Melbourne woman who has natural R-cup breasts has revealed her bust won’t stop growing due to a rare condition.

Paige Amelia, 29, has gigantomastia, a rare condition which causes rapid breast tissue growth.

As well as causing extreme back pain and discomfort, Ms Amelia also has to shell out thousands each year on custom bras and new clothes every time her cup size goes up again.

Luckily the mum-of-one has been able to turn her uncomfortable situation into a profitable business, earning almost $600,000-a-year on OnlyFans thanks to her fuller bust.

However, she’s never undergone breast reduction surgery as she fears it would be “pointless”, as the breast tissue would simply grow back again.

'I appreciate your concern for my health but I love the way I look'

“The growth is sporadic – sometimes it stops, then all of a sudden they grow a lot in a month,” Ms Amelia said.

“I try to buy stretchy tops so there’s more space when they grow – but I’m always on the lookout for new clothes.

“Replacing them costs a fortune. I have to get my bras custom-made at about $280 each. But I’ve just had to accept it.”

Ms Amelia’s boobs started growing uncontrollably when she was 25 and have not stopped since.

Gigantomastia can be caused by a range of factors including hormonal changes, medications, and auto-immune diseases, but in Ms Amelia’s case, the cause is currently unknown.

In January 2022, her bust was 100cm – and by September 2022, it had grown to 114cm.

By May 2023 it had hit 139cm, and her ever-growing chest now measures 143cm.

While her last bosom pulls in cash, she has to deal with the physical pain as well as online trolls and social judgement.

“I feel like when you have a larger chest, you get sexualised more,” she said.

“OnlyFans is good, but I don’t like wearing tight clothing in public because I get unpleasant looks, particularly from other women.

“I feel a constant pressure to appease everyone, and I can’t wear what I want because I’m paranoid about people looking.”

Ms Amelia said she is inundated with messages from strangers and constantly has to tell people her breasts are natural when she’s labelled “plastic”.

But she also has to fend off countless invites from men she’s never met who want to take her on a date.

As a result, she’s now considering going under the knife for breast reduction surgery, which would cost her around $10,000 even with Medicare support.

But she fears it would all be for nothing if it doesn’t stop her breasts from growing.

“I’m worried they would just grow back to the same size again and I’d just have wasted the money,” she said.

“It’s not guaranteed the surgery would stop the growth.”

While she does profit financially, Ms Amelia has shown extreme caution when it comes to the wild offers she receives from men on social media.

“There are some people on OnlyFans who like a larger chest, but there are people on there who want it to grow even bigger,” she explained.

“I get asked to go on a date up to 40 times a day – it’s a very popular question.

“I’ve never said yes.”
