Glassy hot mornings, sunny skies and sea breezes in the afternoon.
This week’s building springs should see some fantastic action in all the major rivers as the water levels have now dropped out of the floodplains.
For those land based aficionados Shady Camp barrage has been producing good numbers of barra and some big girls too, with plenty of smaller fish in the kilometre or so down from the ramp for the boaties.
Gun local fisho Grayson had an awesome day there last week getting 45 fish bouncing soft plastics off the bottom.
The East is accessible for those with high clearance 4wd and some metre fish have been caught, along with good numbers of smaller fish around Turkey Dreaming.
The mouth of Nourlangie has been producing some big girls on the push of the incoming, but has been hit and miss.
The big news is the blue water scene has started to fire with Dundee going off with both pelagic and bottom fish in all the usual haunts.
The Finnis has finally started to produce some fish too so an early morning offshore fish followed by an arvo barra fish in the Finnis could be a great weekend option.
