HIPSTERIA will be taking over Darwin Waterfront’s The Precinct this weekend, with The Craft Beer Festival 2019 giving beer enthusiasts a taste of some alternative brews.
THE Territory breweries behind our favourite beers
Hosted by The Precinct, the weekend will showcase nine craft beers, from as far as Feral Brew Co in Baskerville, WA and the Sydney suburb of Manly’s 4 Pines Brewing Co, to as close as Coconut Grove’s Beaver Brewery.
Beaver Brewery owner Chris Brown said it gave up-and-coming brewers the chance to showcase their beers.
Event organiser Haylee McCulloch said about 50 beers would be available.
“A lot of it is limited edition, stuff you’ll never find in the NT ever again, it’s just been brewed specifically for the festival,” she said.

The festival will also include an outdoor barber, kids entertainment and henna tattoos, along with beer and food pairings and tasting competitions.
The event will be ticketed for the first time, with entry starting at $5.
