Star reveals mortifying Bradley Cooper encounter

A female celebrity has publicly revealed a hilariously awkward encounter she had with A-lister Bradley Cooper.

Amy Schumer joked about an awkward encounter she recently had with Bradley Cooper.

The comedian shared the story while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week.

“Bradley Cooper, I ran into this week,” she began. “So, I saw him, and you know, ‘How are you?’ And he said, ‘You know, I turned 50 this year.’ And he goes, ‘You 50?’”

Schumer laughed and admitted she “tried to kind of recover,” but she still stumbled over her words.

“I’m 43. But, you know, I’m like, ‘I will be 50! But I’m not 50,’” she recalled.

Jimmy Fallon laughed and crouched over his desk while pointing out that Cooper “made a mistake.”

“‘You 50?’ It was just like, ‘Yeah, no, I’m not, Bradley. You know, I’m not, but thank you for thinking of me,’” she remembered while giggling.

The actress has long been a fan of the “American Sniper” star and even gushed about how “hot” he is during her “Saturday Night Live” monologue in 2015.

“He’s the kind of hot where — trust me — when he is in front of you, you would just grab your ankles,” she said while people laughed. “Like, you wouldn’t even mean to. You wouldn’t know what happened. You would say things you didn’t mean. That’s the kind of hot that Bradley is.”

Schumer explained that she met Cooper at an event and was in awe when they chatted for 30 minutes.

“I walked away, and I was like, ‘Am I dating Bradley Cooper?’” she quipped. “I don’t know how Hollywood works, but I’m pretty sure that I’m dating Bradley Cooper!”

The star joked she even went on Facebook to change her relationship status from “it’s complicated” to “engaged.”

Schumer told the story again on The Tonight Show and joked to Fallon that she “always harasses” Cooper to get a few laughs.

“I feel very uncomfortable talking to someone that handsome,” she confessed. “He’s really charismatic, and he stares into your eyes and asks you questions.”
