The fashionable and fiery cast of The Real Housewives of Sydney are set return for Season 3 – and leading the way is none other than Caroline Gaultier.
The 53-year-old model was a newcomer in Season 2, but she held her own among the drama and the divas. And there’s “a lot more” to come this season, she reveals to news.com.au.
“The problems are getting real and a lot of the masks are falling off,” she tells us ahead of the show’s premiere on Tuesday, February 25 on BINGE.
“So you’ll get to see what the women are really made of and how they handle situations.”
Carrying over their feud from Season 2, which came to a head at the reunion special that aired in December 2023, Caroline and her castmates, Bondi vet Dr Kate Adams and seasoned socialite Terry Biviano, are barely on speaking terms.
“It’s very difficult to reconcile with people who don’t take responsibility and who don’t make sense,” Caroline says. “I spent the whole season trying to decipher what they were actually going on about. I could not understand most of what they were going on about.”
“It’s very, very difficult to navigate through that landscape to try and come to a resolution.”
Besides, Caroline has a lot on her plate this season, which sees her make her big return to modelling.

The Prague-born Sydneysider was signed by a modelling agency when she was just 17, and she went on to have a successful career living and working in Japan. Eventually she returned to Australia to start a family. But after many years raising her daughters, Caroline is ready to take centre stage again and was asked to walk in Australian Fashion Week.
“[The opportunity] just kind of fell into my lap and I decided to do it because never in my life did I ever think I’d be on a runway at 53,” she says.
“This magical thing happens when you turn 53. It’s like you get to the other side. You’ve had children. You’ve been married. You’ve ticked all the boxes and then society tells you that you’re put out to pasture.
“But society doesn’t also tell you that this pasture is this lovely green open space sunny, beautiful place that you get to run around and do anything you want.”
Caroline says at this point in her life “all the expectations are gone” and she doesn’t “give a sh*t what people think”.
“For me personally, at this stage of my game, I’m saying ‘yes’ to everything,” she says. “I want to taste everything. I want to experience everything and the more inappropriate the better.”
And that goes for her love life too. This season, we see her embark on a “long-haul booty call” as she dates a younger man who lives in Hawaii.
“He has a job in the military, so that means I actually can’t say much,” she says. “But it’s probably one of the funniest relationships I’ve had.”
“He’s 15 years younger than me, there’s no expectations, and it’s just really like one of the easiest relationships I’ve had and the most fun. So we’ll see where that goes.”
The Real Housewives of Sydney Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, February 25 at 1:30pm AEDT on BINGE and Foxtel, with new episodes dropping weekly. Also available On Demand.
