First look at the reimagining of The Real Housewives of Sydney as official trailer released

The highly anticipated return of The Real Housewives of Sydney is among us with a glam-packed trailer released today.

BINGE releases The Real Housewives of Sydney trailer

Mark your calendars because the reimagined edition of The Real Housewives of Sydney is set to premiere on October 10.

A trailer has dropped for the highly anticipated series, set to air on Binge, giving viewers a sneak peek of what’s to come.

With the Harbour City as its backdrop, the reality TV show promises to bring together seven of the city’s most fabulous and wealthy women as they allow cameras into their lives to witness the friendships, fashion, drama and everything in between.

“People have a view that it’s full of snobs or people who think they’re better than other people. They're actually pretty spot on,” new Housewife Victoria Montano says in the trailer.

She is joined by other newbies Sally Obermeder, Terry Biviano, Caroline Gaultier and Kate Adams, plus returning Housewives Krissy Marsh and Nicole O’Neil.

The trailer sees the women attended fancy events and lunches in their hometown before travelling to Japan for the ultimate girls’ trip.

But it’s not all fun, games and vacays with the women not afraid of confrontation.

“So who are we burning at the stake tonight?” Gaultier asks in the trailer, as another Housewife adds in a voiceover: “When it comes to friends and family, you praise in public and you criticise in public.”

In a previous interview with Stellar, Biviano – who is married to former Sydney Roosters NRL star Anthony Minichiello – said that the new-look Sydney cast isn’t out to follow the Housewives from other franchises, both here and abroad.

“We are not looking at any other Housewives – or any other franchise – to be any particular character,” she told the outlet last month.

“We are literally much more interesting and fabulous than anyone else who has ever appeared.”

It’s also six long years since the first season of The Real Housewives of Sydney aired. The original series was not commissioned for a season two as the cast and content did not resonate with viewers.

However, this new rebooted version of the show promises to have more of a focus on fun and friendship than that dysfunctional RHOS first season.

Prior to filming the 10-episode reboot, Marsh – who appeared in the original alongside O’Neil – gave the newcomers this piece of simple advice.

“You can’t control what people say about you behind closed doors. All you can do is behave how you want to behave,” she told news.com.au during a press day last month.

The Real Housewives of Sydney will be available on BINGE and Foxtel from October 10.
