TWO of the Northern Territory’s biggest superstars have returned home and spent the weekend flying around the Top End

TWO of the Northern Territory’s biggest superstars have returned home and spent the weekend flying around the Top End.

Singer Jess Mauboy celebrated her father’s 60th birthday travelling around with Matt Wright.

She, and her family, also met Wright’s pet croc, Tripod, with Mauboy nervously posing for photos next to the mammoth reptile.

A video of the encounter also appeared on Matt Wright’s Instagram account yesterday.

“This is just unbelievable, this is incredible,” Mauboy said. “There’s no words, to be honest.”

The video is the first post of Wright’s since his return from the US this week.

He has been touring the world to promote his new National Geographic TV series Outback Wrangler.

Mauboy has also recently been in the US, where she attended the famous G’Day USA Black Tie Gala in Los Angeles.
