Alba guest starred in two episodes of the teen drama in 1998 but didn’t enjoy her interactions with the main cast.

“I couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the cast members, which was really strange when you’re, like, trying to do a scene with them,” Alba explained on Hot Ones.

“It was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set,”’ she said.

Alba’s recent claims were met with surprise from former Beverly Hills, 90210 stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.

“I had all the scenes with her,” Garth said on the podcast 9021OMG. “If anybody didn’t want to have their eyes looked into, it would’ve been me, but I don’t remember ’cause I have the world’s worst memory.”

Spelling wondered on the podcast if Beverly Hills, 90210 producers had given guest stars a list of do’s and don’t’s about how to interact with the main cast, without the main cast knowing.

“Imagine we just thought guest stars didn’t like us?” she said. “They never looked at us! We don’t know why. We were so nice.”

Both Garth and Spelling were full of praise for Alba who has gone on to have not only a successful acting career but also a booming business career with The Honest Company.

“From the vague memories I have of working with her, I only remember her being super talented,” Spelling said.

“She was very young, and she was really sweet,” Garth added. “It does not surprise me that she’s gone on to be so successful.”
