Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon have been photographed holding hands while having an intense conversation at a recent event.
The A-list duo both attended the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of upcoming film Unstoppable at the weekend, in which Lopez stars and Damon co-produced via his and Ben Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity.
At the after-party, it appears the two had a deep catch-up amid Lopez’s divorce from Affleck, the latter of whom has been best friends with Damon for decades.
In photos, Lopez, 55, and Damon, 53, could be seen clasping hands as they spoke to one another while seated at a table.
At one point, Damon stares down at the ground while continuing to hold Lopez’s hand as she speaks.
Affleck, who supported the making of the film, was not present at the premiere.
Earlier, both Lopez and Damon posed for photographers on the red carpet alongside the film’s cast.
The film festival marked the US singer’s first major public appearance since she filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, their second wedding anniversary.
Lopez walked the red carpet in what’s been described as a “revenge dress” – a silver Tamara Ralph gown which featured high slits up both sides.
The exaggerated slits were held together with oversized black velvet bows.
The Post reports Lopez was, at one point, seen joking to Unstoppable co-star Bobby Cannavale that she was a “bad picker”, seemingly referencing her recent marriage breakdown.
Lopez has been married four times, including to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, Marc Anthony, from 2004 to 2014 and to Ben Affleck from 2022 to 2024.
She has been engaged a total of six times.
Neither Lopez nor Affleck have commented on their break-up.
Unstoppable, which is set to hit cinemas in December, is a true sports story about the life of three-time all-American wrestler Anthony Robles, who is played by US actor Jharrel Jerome. Lopez plays his wife, Judy Robles.
