Charlie Sheen throws support behind daughter Sami amid OnlyFans saga

After publicly slamming his ex and declaring he “does not condone” his 18-year-old daughter’s OnlyFans career, actor Charlie Sheen has had a stunning change of tune.

Charlie Sheen's daughter shares abuse allegations

Charlie Sheen has sensationally back-pedalled after butting heads with his ex-wife Denise Richards over their 18-year-old daughter’s OnlyFans page.

The actor, who said he “did not condone” his teen daughter, Sami, joining the content-sharing platform, has changed his mind after days of fierce online debate.

In a new interview, he said Richards helped him see things differently.

“Denise has illuminated a variety of salient points, that in my haste, I overlooked and dismissed,” the 56-year-old told Us Weekly in a statement.

“Now more than ever, it’s essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure. From this moment forward, she’ll have it abundantly.”

The troubled star admitted he had ‘overlooked’ some points when commenting on Sami’s OnlyFans choice.

Sami made headlines last week after announcing she’d joined OnlyFans.

Her mother, Richards, 51, later told Page Six, “Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in. All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices.”

However, Charlie, took a different stance, stating that he did not approve of his daughter’s decision to create an OnlyFans and blamed Richards for their teen’s actions.

“She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof,” he said. “I do not condone this, but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”

But Richards doubled down on her support, taking to Instagram to share how she stands behind Sami’s new venture.

“Sami I will always support you & always have your back. I love you,” the Wild Things actress commented on her daughter’s Instagram post plugging her new venture.

Despite Richards’ supportive words, the mother-daughter duo have had a tense relationship in recent months.

In September 2021, Sami posted a TikTok video in which she claimed she was “trapped in an abusive household” while living with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum.

“There are certain rules, and I enforce them,” Richards defended herself at the time. “And [at Charlie’s], there’s different rules at that house, and that’s OK.”

But she and Sami still seem to be working through their differences.

In February, Richards shared that their relationship was “strained” but that they were on better terms. And in March, she wished her daughter a happy 18th birthday in a sweet Instagram post. They also spent Mother’s Day together last month.

Richards and Charlie tied the knot in 2002, but their relationship went south before they welcomed their younger daughter, 16-year-old Lola Sheen, in 2005.

“It was a very dark time. Very toxic. And I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant with her,” Richards shared in a 2020 episode of RHOBH.

In 2011, Richards adopted another daughter, Eloise Richards. She then married Aaron Phypers in 2018.

Charlie, known for his playboy ways, married actress Brooke Mueller in 2008, but they were divorced by 2011. He and Mueller, 44, share 13-year-old twins Bob and Max.
