Meghan Markle’s plans to reboot a passion project get a major boost amid claims Prince Harry will attend the coronation alone.

Meghan Markle is reportedly set to relaunch her former career as a blogger by bringing back a rebooted version of her website The Tig.

The Duchess of Sussex shut down the lifestyle site following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017.

According to the New York Post, a document filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office reveals the new potential new version of The Tig would consist of articles and interviews covering a variety of topics.

Pieces about “food, cooking, recipes, travel, relationships, fashion, style, interior design, lifestyle, the arts, culture, design, conscious living, health and wellness” would fill the blog’s content.

“The Tig” was founded in 2014 and was named after Ms Markle’s favourite red wine, Tignanello.

While a relaunch date for the site has yet to be announced, The Mirror reports the new version could go live as early as next week.

The Duchess penned a farewell note in April 2017 on the blog, closing that chapter of her life when she joined the royal family.

“After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig,” she wrote at the time.

“What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy,” she wrote.

“Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world.’

“Above all, don’t ever forget your worth – as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything.”

HARRY ‘WILL ATTEND CORONATION ALONE’

Prince Harry will attend King Charles’ coronation “alone” as his wife Meghan Markle won’t be “brave or strong enough,” according to Princess Diana’s former butler.

Paul Burrell, who worked for the late Princess of Wales for more than 10 years until her tragic death in 1997, said that King Charles has “retained the moral high ground” by inviting the exiled royals to the May 6 coronation, the New York Post reported.

“It’s likely to be incredibly uncomfortable for them if they attend, particularly Meghan,” the 64-year-old Burrell told Closer Magazine.

“Are they prepared to face the music? I don’t think Meghan’s brave or strong enough to be there — she’d have to look in the eyes of a family she’s pushed under the bus,” he said.

“But I think Harry may come alone and she’s probably told him she won’t be able to be by his side with him if he does attend.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — who have been invited to the historic ceremony — are reportedly still debating whether or not they will make the trip to the UK from their California home.

Mr Burrell noted that ultimately, “the ball is well and truly in Harry and Meghan’s court”, adding that it will be difficult for Prince Harry to see Queen Consort Camilla “where his mother could have been”.

In his controversial memoir Spare, Prince Harry had no qualms in divulging family secrets and private conversations.

During an interview with Anderson Cooper on US 60 Minutes, the Duke of Sussex famously described Camilla as a “villain” and the third person in the marriage between King Charles and Princess Diana.

The comment was reportedly the driving force in the King’s decision to evict the Sussexes from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage.

Representatives for the Sussexes have said “an immediate decision” on whether they will make the trip “will not be disclosed”.

If they do attend, many members of the royal family reportedly “want nothing to do with them” during the event, according to a source close to the family.

If they do decide to attend, sources claim members of the royal family “do not want to socialise” with the Sussexes after the couple have spent the past few years slamming the royal family and the monarchy.

According to the Daily Mail, the source said: “They will be given the cold shoulder by very many relatives. One said to me, ‘I hope they’ll be seated in Iceland’.

“Many of the family just want nothing more to do with them. If they have to see them at the coronation then so be it, but they do not want to socialise with them.”
