Charles and William have ‘no intention’ of apologising to Harry at coronation

King Charles and Prince William have “no intention” of giving Prince Harry the apology he has demanded. This is why.

Harry and Meghan’s popularity plummets below Prince Andrew

King Charles III and Prince William reportedly have “no intention” of giving Prince Harry the apology he has demanded if he is to attend the Coronation.

The Daily Mail reported the King and Prince of Wales have rejected Harry’s demands following his latest attacks on the Royal Family.

The family drama has been described as a “toxic stalemate”.

“There is still a huge amount of ill will boiling over,” a source told the Daily Mail.

It is said that the Duke of Sussex is demanding a private apology from his father and brother before he’s willing to fly back to the United Kingdom for the May 6 ceremony.

Last month, Harry publicly raised the idea of an apology from the Royal Family.

In an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, the Prince said “the ball is in their court”.

“There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re [the family] willing to sit down and talk about it,” he said.

Sources say William is “not in the mood for any conversation” after his brother and his wife, Meghan Markle, launched a publicity war on the firm.

In their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, the Duke alleged his brother “screamed and shouted” at him at the Sandringham Summit after he revealed they wanted to quit the monarchy.

The Duchess of Sussex made a subtle dig atWilliam and his wife, Kate Middleton, as she described meeting them for the first time.

In his memoir Spare, readers were stunned by Harry’s accounts of a fight with William in his kitchen and private conversations with his elder sibling and father.

He documented clashing with William over the Sussexes’ Oprah Winfrey interview and describes how his father begged his sons “please, boys, don’t make my final years a misery”.

“I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologising and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated,” one source said.

“What are the family meant to apologise for? As the late Queen said, recollections may vary.” said another.

However, another source claimed that the King is said to be open to having a conversation with Harry.

“I don’t think His Majesty is minded to apologise for anything at present. Quite the opposite,” a source said.

“Conversations could still happen in the next few weeks [over the Sussexes’ attendance], I am sure, but they will be waiting a very long time for an apology.

“There’s a great deal of hurt [at Harry’s actions].”

Around 2,000 guests are expected to receive “Save the Date” cards within the next two weeks for Charles’ coronation.

It’s significantly low from the 8,251 guests who attended Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953 to make the event more streamlined amid the cost of living crisis.

Formal invitations will follow, issued three weeks before the ceremony.

Last year it was reported that Harry and Meghan were invited to the King’s Coronation.

Charles extended an olive branch to the Sussexes welcoming them to attend the event.

Sources said the King will always keep a door open for Harry and that he will not want his coronation to be side-tracked by the family drama.

“Harry is his son and His Majesty will always love him. While things are difficult at the moment, the door will always be left ajar,” an insider said.
