Awards season is well and truly underway, and when it comes to the most glamorous of showbiz ceremonies – the EE BAFTA Film Awards are right up at the top.

The event, held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, is once again hosted by Dr Who star David Tennant and has attracted some of Hollywood’s biggest names to the English capital.

Papal drama Conclave lead the pack of nominees heading into the show with 12 nods, followed by Emilia Pérez with 11, The Brutalist with nine, Dune: Part Two and Wicked with seven, A Complete Unknown and Kneecap with six, and Nosferatu and The Substance with five.

But before any of the winners were announced, all eyes were on the red carpet – and the stars that were posing up a storm on it.

(FYI: Longtime BAFTA president Prince William and his wife, Kate, the Princess of Wales, are often among the high-profile guests – but have sadly opted to skip this year’s ceremony).

Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie looked dramatically different from her Brienne of Tarth days, dialling up the glam – with a bit of goth thrown in – as she arrived at the venue.

Another Supporting Actress nominee, Wicked’s Ariana Grande, has entered the arena.

(Worth noting it’s currently 3 degrees celsius in London, so shout-out to all the stars who are presumably freezing in the name of fashion).
