Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, has announced her engagement to a billionaire heir, showing off her massive diamond on Instagram.

Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, has announced her engagement to billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi.

The jewellery designer, 47, wore a massive diamond ring on her left hand in a photo with her new fiancé, 33, that she shared to her Instagram on Saturday.

“YES!!!” she captioned the post.

The son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi sweetly wrapped his arms around Meyer in the picture taken after he popped the question.

The couple appeared to be at an intimate dinner party where bottles of wine lined the walls and several white roses were set up in small vases across the table.

There was also a large blue box atop one of the plates, which most likely held the celebrity jeweller’s engagement ring.

The enormous sparkler features an emerald-shaped diamond flanked by two trapezoid baguette diamonds on a gold band.

Replying to a fan who praised the ring in the comments section of her post, Meyer wrote, “it was alllll him! Total surprise.”

The jewellery designer, seen here with friend Allison Wise, says the engagement came as a “total surprise”.

The bride-to-be was dressed to the nines for the proposal in a mini black Miu Miu dress, while Geoffrey’s muscular arms were on display in a tight black sweater and black pants.

Several of Meyer’s famous pals flooded the comments section of the post to celebrate the milestone moment.

“Congratulations!!!” Jennifer Garner wrote.

“So incredibly happy for you!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!” Kelly Rowland commented.

“Yes absolutely!!! Mazel tov! Congrats my baby girllll!!” Kimora Lee Simmons said.

“Congratulations beauty,” Rachel Bilson gushed.

“this makes us all so happy. I love you !!!” Goldie Hawn added.

Geoffrey is the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi.

Other stars who weighed in with sweet messages included Paris Hilton, Camila Morrone, Diane Kruger, Olivia Munn, Leslie Mann, Kate Hudson, Vanessa Bryant and Jenna Dewan.

Meyer’s friend Allison Wise also shared a photo of the newly betrothed star showing off her gorgeous ring, writing, “So happy for this angel queen @jenmeyerjewelry — my everything BEST friend who is marrying the greatest man and her soul mate!”

Wise added, “I love you and can’t wait to keep celebrating you both!”

Meyer was first seen with Geoffrey last summer, and they made their red carpet debut in November 2023.

She was previously married to Maguire, 49, from 2007 to 2020.

Meyer and the Spider-Man star welcomed two kids during their union: daughter Ruby, 17, and son Otis, 15.

The exes called it quits in 2016 on good terms, with the mum of two sharing with Erin Foster on the World’s First Podcast in 2022, “I was able to make a conscious decision about how this break-up was going to go and trust that the universe had my back, had our back as a couple for our children, for all of these things, and really, it’s been the most beautiful experience of my life having this beautiful break-up.”

She added, “I would literally do anything in the world for Tobey. He is my brother. I love him to death, and we have the most beautiful family.”
