Hiddleston breaks silence: Relationship ‘not a publicity stunt’

WE’VE all been wondering, and finally Tom Hiddleston has broken his silence about his relationship with Taylor Swift. Yep, it’s the real deal.

ACTOR Tom Hiddleston has finally broken his silence about his new relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, following widespread speculation that their pairing is a publicity stunt or hoax.

Hiddleston has previously refused to answer questions about their very public relationship — as seen during a painful interview with a Channel 9 reporter this week, when the Thor star squirmed his way out of even acknowledging that his very famous girlfriend is visiting Australia with him.

But in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Hiddleston was in a slightly more generous mood, confirming he and Swift’s relationship.

“Well, um. How best to put this?” a chuckling Hiddleston said when asked about the romance. “The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking.”

He then clarified: “That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”

So there you have it: HIDDLESWIFT IS REAL. Yes, that means Hiddleston actually willingly wore that ‘I HEART T.S.’ tank top over the 4th of July weekend because he wanted to, and not as some sort of contractual obligation.

After all, if Hiddleswift was a publicity stunt, it hasn’t exactly worked: The very public romance, and ensuing spats between Swift and ex Calvin Harris, have sparked something of a backlash for the previously untouchable music star.
