Oasis singer Liam Gallagher’s sons Lennon and Gene look exactly like him

Liam Gallagher’s sons Gene and Lennon looked the spitting image of their rock star dad at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Preview Party in London on Tuesday.

Gene’s mum is All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, 48, who split with Liam in 2014 after six years of marriage.

While Lennon’s mum is Liam’s first wife Patsy Kensit, 55, who married the Oasis star in 1997. The couple split three years later.

The young brothers clearly get their inspiration from their hit-maker dad, sporting a similar laid-back look.

Gene, 21, cut a casual figure in black jeans and a collared jacket which was zipped up over a white T-shirt.

Lennon, 23, meanwhile wore a near-identical pair of jeans, shoes and jacket, worn unzipped over a dark-toned graphic tee.

The siblings’ style was a clear nod to their famous dad as both sported tousled, ‘70s-style pageboy haircuts.

Lennon and Gene grew up with a fairly unconventional family life.

While they were products of Liam’s first and second marriages they have two other half-siblings who were born from affairs.

Liam only met his third child, daughter Molly Gallagher, 25, for the first time in 2018. She is the daughter of musician Lisa Moorish, who had an affair with Liam while he was married to Patsy.

Of his first meeting with Molly, Liam has previously said: “Yeah, man, there were tears and all that.”

Molly said she always thought of Liam as her father despite not meeting him until she was 19.

She said: “It was always a known, spoken-about thing. It was just, when it feels right, it will happen.

“I don’t have any anger. I’m 21 now. I’m actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life’s been. It’s all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I’m happy to have him now.”

Liam and Noel in their heyday.

Liam is yet to meet his second daughter Gemma, the 10-year-old daughter of journalist Liza Ghorbani. The pair had an affair while he was married to Nicole.

Liam insisted the little one would be welcomed into the clan “without a doubt”.

Nicole also has a daughter, three-year-old Skipper Hudson Haines, whom she shares with husband Stephen Haines.

Despite embracing his large family Liam is barely on speaking terms with ex-Oasis bandmate brother Noel, 56.

Liam’s sons appeared on Tuesday as guests at the star-studded Royal Academy of Arts Summer Preview, which was also attended by Lila Moss, the 20-year-old model daughter of Kate Moss, and Radio 1 star Vick Hope.

The exhibition, which was set up in 1768, raises funds to support the Royal Academy Schools, Britain’s first art school.

Individual tickets to the glamorous event cost £525 (A$977) and earn holders entry to the party, a programme, bubbly and nibbles and the 2023 Exhibition List of Works & Price Guide.

A VIP ticket, which costs £850 (A$1582), comes with a special listing in the preview programme, early access to view artworks and the first opportunity to buy works.

These guests are also granted access to an exclusive VIP Reception in the Royal Academy’s Fine Rooms.
