BEYONCE’S pregnancy announcement earlier this month set the internet alight.
It smashed Selena Gomez’s previously held Instagram record for the photo with the most likes and spawned hundreds of thousands of tweets and memes congratulating the singer and her rapper husband Jay-Z.
And now the iconic photo has moved from Instagram and onto the wall of a five storey building.
Famous Aussie street artist Lushsux, who is well-known for his murals of celebrities, has revealed his latest artwork, and it’s his best yet.
Occupying a five storey building in downtown Melbourne, the artist took to Instagram to post the artwork feigning his own pregnant belly.
Fans of the artist have already started to flock to the wall, posting their own versions of the photo.
Lushsux teased he would be recreating the iconic photo last week when he posted Beyoncé’s maternity photo on Instagram.
“Who has a massive wall for this @beyonce maternity photo in Melbourne?” he captioned the image. “Ideally four to five stories high? DM and tag in anyone who could help or would be interested.”
Lushsux is well-known for his street art which often satirically takes aim at pop culture figures.
Some of his more famous subjects include Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Barack Obama.
