Amy Schumer has taken to Instagram to “warn” her younger fans against the perils of getting older.
The Hollywood star is known for her self-deprecating humour, and she made sure to stay true to form in her latest post on the social media platform.
Schumer shared a picture of herself looking young and fresh on the red carpet when she was in her 20s.
She then urged her followers to swipe left to see a picture of herself currently, over a decade later.
In the present-day picture, Amy could be seen pulling a disgruntled expression while wearing a hospital gown and looking into a mirror.
“Warning 20 somethings I looked like this at your age. Swipe. Life is coming for you,” she quipped in the caption.
She also shared the snaps to her Instagram Story, captioning them: “Girls in your 20s guess what? I looked like you too, Life is coming for you b******.”
The star’s famous pal, director Olivia Wilde, replied to the post with a “skull” emoji, while fans of the star inundated the replies with “cry laughing” emojis.
Schumer has been open with fans in the past about wanting to age naturally. Back in 2021, she told fans that she had attempted cheek fillers. However, after being unhappy with the result she decided to have them dissolved.
“I tried getting fillers,” she wrote on Instagram. “Turns out, I was already full. Thank God you can dissolve them I looked like #maleficent.”.
Later that same year, she also revealed that she had undergone a liposuction procedure. The comedian admitted that it was because she was unhappy with what she saw looking back at her in the mirror at the time.
“It’s not about needing to be slamming, because I’ve never been famous for being hot, but I’d reached a place where I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror,” she told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.
“Everybody on camera is doing this s***, I just wanted to be real about it.”
Meanwhile, Schumer was recently forced to defend herself after she was accused of “bullying” Aussie star Nicole Kidman.
She took to social media to clarify a “joke” about the way Kidman was sitting at the 2023 US Open after being accused of cyber-bullying.
“I was not making fun of how she looks. Nicole Kidman is beautiful and one of the most incredible actors of all time,” insisted Schumer.
