All the Kardashians attend the 2022 Met Gala

Billionaire Kylie Jenner has been brutally mocked for her bizarre Met Gala look, as people dub it “the biggest glowdown in history.”

Kim Kardashian slammed for promoting unhealthy body standards at Met Gala

Kylie Jenner has hit the Met Gala in a bizarre, tacky bride inspired look.

The 24-year-old billionaire cosmetics mogul, who is usually dressed in custom couture and dripping in diamonds, has opted for what appears to be a reverse take on the ‘Gilded Glamour’ dress code – sporting a fishnet bridal veil attached to a backwards baseball cap.

The mother-of-two also rocked a preppy wedding dress which featured a sheer T-shirt bodice and a retro tulle skirt.

Jenner has been brutally mocked for the confusing ensemble, with one dubbing it the “biggest glowdown in history”

Meanwhile Kim Kardashian, 41, had a true ‘Marilyn moment’, with the reality star wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic ‘Happy Birthday, Mr President’ dress from 1962.

The billionaire took the sparkling vintage gown for its first ever night on the town since Monroe wore it decades ago, sporting bleach blonde hair to further emulate the sex symbol.

The sheer gown - which is the very dress Monroe wore when she famously serendaded JFK for his birthday - is considered one of the world’s most expensive dresses, after Ripley’s museum in Florida purchased it for $6.8 million in 2016.

It comes as every sister from the Kardashian family was invited to the Met Gala for the first time in its history.

Kim has been a red carpet mainstay at the ball for years, as well as her half-sisters Kendall Jenner, 26, and Kylie.

But the trio were joined for the first time by their sisters Kourtney Kardashian, 43, and Khloe Kardashian, 37, for Monday’s ‘Gilded Glamour’ event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Guests at this year’s Met Gala were told to dress in the theme of “Gilded glamour, white-tie”.

They were encouraged to “embody the grandeur – and perhaps the dichotomy – of the gilded age New York”.

It appears to be a narrower remit than previous years, where broad themes like “camp” saw celebs dress in a wild variety of outfits.
