Zuccoli Primary School build tender awarded to Sunbuild
The tender for the last stage of the Top End’s newest school has been awarded to a local company.

THE tender for stage two of Zuccoli Primary School has been awarded to local company Sunbuild.
The $18.04 project includes eight new classrooms, an administration building and a library.
NEW Palmerston school to open in 2020
Other new facilities in the project will be shared with adjoining Mother Teresa Catholic School, including science, home economics and music rooms, a multipurpose hall and sports oval.
Once completed in 2021 the school will cater for 430 primary school students and about 88 preschoolers.
Education Minister Selena Uibo said the school would benefit the community.

“(It) will ease enrolment pressures at surrounding Palmerston schools and enable the families of Zuccoli to send their children to school closer to home,” she said.
Stage one is nearly finished, with a preschool and eight primary school classrooms scheduled to open in term one, 2020.
