TERRITORY police are working with social media platforms to remove dozens of Top End school fight videos in a bid to avoid inciting more violence.
The Department of Education said several Instagram pages sharing fight videos involving students from multiple schools across the Darwin region had been reported to the police.
In a series of disturbing videos posted to one of the pages, youths can be seen tackling other kids to the ground, punching and kicking during ugly school brawls.

Darwin Division Superintendent Daniel Shean told the NT News police were working with social media service providers to have these types of account removed.
“These types of videos incite violence and bullying behaviour,” he said.
“Where incidents are reported to police, police will investigate and take appropriate action.”
It comes after footage surfaced of a vicious school brawl between two girls at Taminmin College last month.
