CHARLES Darwin University has cancelled an event that was supposed to be held in Darwin this weekend due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A world-renowned Balinese master shadow puppeteer, I Madé Sidia, was due to deliver two free public performances at the CDU Art Gallery on Friday and Saturday.

“The cancellation of the Balinese event is a precautionary measure in light of the World Health Organisation last night describing the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic,”
a university spokeswoman said.
“CDU is following Australian Government Health Department advice around containing the outbreak.”
