A $22 million tree-lined retail precinct with tavern has been proposed for growth suburb Muirhead.
The first stage of the precinct will be the $12 million tavern, Breezes Bar & Bistro.
Breezes is the concept of respected Top End hospitality industry operators, Justin Coleman and Steve Dugan, who founded the award-winning Bell Bar & Bistro in Bellamack in 2017.
The Bell Bar and Bistro was named Best Family Venue in the NT at the Hospitality NT Awards for Excellence in 2019 and went on to represent the NT at the national awards.
The proposed Breezes Bar & Bistro is on the corner of Lee Point Road and Fuhrmann Street and features a restaurant and cafe dining, an al fresco area and a secure children’s playground.
It is expected work on the tavern will begin in 12 months if approvals are successful.
