TERRITORY children with additional needs have been supported with almost $100 million in resources and support in the past four years.

As part of a series of initiatives through the NT Government’s Framework for Inclusion 2019-2029, schools across the Territory have been able to employ support staff and install infrastructure to assist students with additional needs.

Moulden Park Primary School was one of 12 educators to install special annexes and upgrade autism units to support students such as Mason Wrigglesworth and Cooper Timms.

A further five schools chose to upgrade classroom acoustics to assist students with hearing difficulties.

Education Minister Selena Uibo said it was crucial to provide every Territory student with support and opportunities to succeed.
