Red Rooster has announced it will open a new restaurant in Parap this year.
The eatery will open on the corner of Ross Smith Ave and Stuart Hwy, joining the United Petroleum station.

A Red Rooster spokeswoman said the chain hoped to open it’s doors before June 30.
“For this particular restaurant we are currently in the process of interviewing potential partners to own and operate the business,” she said.
She said about 30 people would be employed at the drive through restaurant.

Red Rooster first revealed it would occupy the space in 2017 however a formal lease signing was never announced.
It will be the only Red Rooster in the Darwin CBD area after the chain’s Knuckey St restaurant closed more than three years ago.
