CHIEF Minister Michael Gunner is in hospital after a “minor heart scare”.
Mr Gunner’s office confirmed he was admitted to Royal Darwin Hospital’s cardiac ward on Saturday afternoon.
“Following doctors’ advice, the Chief Minister will take some time off until he has been cleared to return to work,” a spokesman told the NT News.

“Doctors have advised that there are no ongoing issues.
“Staff at RDH and Darwin Private have provided excellent care and the Chief Minister is grateful for their efforts.
Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison will act as chief minister until Mr Gunner’s return to work.
It isn’t Mr Gunner’s first health scare while Chief Minister.
