Darwin businesses have now seen almost $650,000 worth of council and government come through there doors thanks to scheme, with every voucher dollar adding a further $6-$7 from customers for their purchases.

Darwin Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said it was one of council’s best ever projects.

“MyDarwin has been an extreme success for council, it was easy to produce, easy to administer and a great initiative,” he said.

“The results speak for themselves, we have generated nearly $7 for every dollar in business.”
