CRUST at Parap will reopen today after a deal was negotiated with a new management group.
The popular pizza place closed in January because of the downturn in the local economy.
The NT News understands a deal has been negotiated with the franchisees of the Crust Casuarina to operate the store.
In January, previous franchisee Sally Illingworth revealed she was closing the doors after four years.
“We’re calling it a temporary closure at this stage while we look into our options and toss up handing the business over and a permanent closure, if we can’t secure any investments by the end of the week,” Ms Illingworth said at the time.
“We don’t want to wave the white flag yet but given the state of the NT economy, we don’t have many other choices at this stage.
“This Christmas, we saw our worst performance ever, sales were down 20 per cent and we just can’t afford to keep running at a loss.”
