A US congresswoman and QAnon conspiracy theorist has been shown in disturbing video harassing a survivor of the Parkland school shooting.

US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene shown harasses school shooting survivor

A video of a US Congresswoman following the survivor of a school shooting and calling him a “coward” has resurfaced, causing outrage across the world.

The video shows Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene following David Hogg, a student who survived the 2018 Parkland shooting, through the street.

Ms Greene, a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theory, has previously referred to Mr Hogg as a “bought and paid little pawn” and claimed the shooting was staged.

According to one of the victim’s fathers, Fred Guttenberg, the incident happened “weeks after the Parkland shooting”.

After chasing after Mr Hogg for a few minutes demanding to know how he was given “media coverage” after being involved in the most deadly school shooting in US history, Ms Greene accused him of being funded by George Soros, a wealthy philanthropist and progressive.

“Why are you supporting the Red Flag laws?” Ms Greene, now Representative for Georgia’s 14th Congressional district, asked Mr Hogg — laws that allow courts to prevent people considered a risk to themselves or others from owning a gun.

“If Scot Peterson (the former Broward Sheriff’s Deputy), the resource officer at Parkland had done his job, then Nikolas Cruz wouldn’t have killed anybody in your high school or at least protected them,” Ms Greene said.

“Why are you supporting red flag gun laws that attack our second amendment rights and why are you using kids as a barrier?

“Do you not know how to defend your stance?”

She continued: “Look, I’m an American citizen. I’m a gun owner. I own a conceal carry permit. I carry a gun for protection for myself and you are using your lobby and the money behind it and the kids to try to take away my second amendment rights.

“You don’t have anything to say for yourself?”

She then asked Mr Hogg how he got “over 30 appointments with Senators”.

“How did you get major press coverage on this issue? And why do you use kids?”

“He had media coverage all over the place,” she tells the camera. “I had zero. Guess what? I’m a gun owner. I’m an American citizen and I have nothing.

“This guy, with his George Soros funding, and his major liberal funding, has got everything.”

The massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killed 17 people and injured 17 others. It is the deadliest high school shooting in US history.

Ms Greene originally shared the video to her YouTube channel in January 2020, claiming she came across Mr Hogg as he lobbied for gun control in Washington, DC, according to The Sun.

The video has been widely shared again online as survivors of the mass shooting reignite a call for Ms Greene to be sacked for her spreading of conspiracy theories.

Earlier this week it was reported Ms Greene had liked Facebook posts calling for former US President Barack Obama to be killed. Another post liked by Ms Greene called for “civil war 2.0”.

In a speech posted to her YouTube, Ms Greene also suggested the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was “guilty of treason” which she claimed was a “crime punishable by death”.

Ms Greene was suspended from Twitter last week, after calling on supporters of former US President Donald Trump to “mobilise”.
