New photos of former First Daughter Ivanka Trump have provided a glimpse into her cruisy new post-White House lifestyle.

Inside former First Daughter Ivanka Trump’s new life

Ivanka Trump appears to be settling into a new, more laid-back lifestyle in Miami following her dramatic White House exit.

The former First Daughter – who acted as a White House adviser alongside husband Jared Kushner during her father Donald Trump’s presidency – has moved her young family to South Florida in the wake of the 74-year-old’s election defeat.

The couple and their three children are currently renting a luxury residence at the Arte Surfside – just one hour from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort – as they wait for their new $US32 million ($A41 million) property in Indian Creek Island to be ready to move in to, the Miami Herald reports.

The complex it believed to cost an average of nearly $47,000 per month, and the couple are believed to have signed a one-year lease.

The property’s website describes Surfside as “an exclusive seaside enclave celebrated for its historic architecture and wide, tranquil beaches”.

“Every residence enjoys spectacular ocean views from private terraces that celebrate outdoor living in a warm, Mediterranean style, as well as first-class services and amenities that rival the world’s most luxurious beachfront resorts.”

In recent days, the 39-year-old and her family have been photographed embracing their new, relaxed pace, with Ms Trump snapped reclining on her balcony, reading a book and scrolling through her phone in a casual red and black striped dress.

She has also been spotted picking her kids up from school, grabbing smoothies from a store, donning tennis whites and enjoying a trip to a local alligator park.

It’s a dramatic change form her hectic days in the White House, with the couple regularly attending high-profile, global events with world leaders.

The new glimpse into the couple’s lifestyle comes as rumours continue to swirl that Ms Trump is seriously planning a foray into politics, with many speculating she was considering challenging Florida’s Republican Senator Marco Rubio in 2022, or even running for president as early as 2024.

Last week, a report by Axios gave weight to that theory, revealing Ms Trump had been concocting a “re-emergence plan” centred on criminal justice reform – a cause already championed by a string of high-profile figures including Kim Kardashian, Jay Z and Kevin Hart.

It claimed that in the dying days of the Trump administration, Ms Trump helped to secure more than 140 pardons and commutations for those who had been victims of injustice within the system as well as for a number of her family’s associates.

According to Axios, she had been working with a number of non-government organisations including Americans for Prosperity and #cut50 which aims to reduce America’s prison population, and advocating on behalf of many individuals, many who had received lengthy prison terms for nonviolent drug offences.

Meanwhile, earlier this month ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington announced the high-profile couple had disclosed earning between $US23,791,645 ($A30 million) and $US120,676,949 ($A155 million) in combined outside income in their final financial disclosure reports.

The cash was made over the course of 2020 and up to January 20, 2021, when Donald Trump left office.

“According to her final financial disclosure report, Ivanka Trump did not receive any income from the businesses she ran before entering government in her final year working at the White House,” the organisation claimed.

“In each of her previous disclosures, including the one covering 2019, she reported income from the businesses despite reporting that they ceased operating in July 2018.”

But spare a thought for “Javanka” – despite pocketing that eye-watering sum, it’s a significant drop from the previous reporting period, when they reported between $US36,151,214 and $US157,020,085 in income.
