Live breaking news: Bondi Beach packed during lockdown in Sydney

The NSW Premier issued a stark warning to people after a rise in cases, and pictures taken in Sydney today show she has a fair point.

Brisbane salon owner defies lockdown

An anti-lockdown beauty parlour in Brisbane has been swarmed by dozens of police officers after the owner allegedly threatened to defy restrictions by opening her salon.

Daniela Milos, the owner of Vanity House at Newstead, posted a video on her business Instagram page saying she would be open despite the state's three-day lockdown.

Footage on social media shows dozens of police descending on the business today and clearing supporters allegedly refusing to comply with the state's stay-at-home orders and the mask mandate.

This is where the outbreak currently stands: NSW has 195 confirmed cases, Queensland has 20 cases, the Northern Territory has 10 cases, Western Australia has four cases and South Australia has five cases.
